What will happen to the jamboree next year if the weather is as bad as it has been for the last couple of years?
I have noticed that Maryborough has been susceptible to flooding at that time of year previously?

The Jamboree site has never been flooded, in actual fact the showground was designated as a flood recovery Centre in January 2011. If we have the heavy rain we had in 2011 all onsite Activities and three of the offsite Activities will still be able to be carried out.

This year in the early part of January there have been no heavy rain spells, the rain we had later in January this year would not have affected any of the Activities. You can look at any Jamboree we have had and you could always ask the question what if. You can be assured there will be contingency plans in place.
